How to use it?
Check your synthetic winch line, soft shackle, and the recovery ring for any sharp debris, sand, or deep scratches before rigging.
Pass the loop of your soft shackle through the center hole of the recovery ring.
Run your synthetic winch line around the deep, smooth outer groove of the recovery ring.
Attach the soft shackle’s knot through its eyelet around a rated vehicle recovery point or tree saver strap, then pull the knot tight to cinch it down. Proceed with the winch recovery.
FAQ
-
Q: Can I use this recovery ring with a steel D-ring shackle or steel winch cable?
-
A: Absolutely not. This recovery ring is strictly engineered for Synthetic Winch Ropes and Soft Shackles only. Steel cables or steel shackles will scratch and gouge the aluminum surface, creating sharp edges that will destroy synthetic fibers.

-
Q: How do I clean and maintain my snatch ring?
-
A: Wash it with mild soap and fresh water after muddy off-road trips to remove sand and grit. Store it inside a protective bag away from sharp metal tools.
